How old do drivers and passengers need to be?

Drivers must be at least 21 and have a valid driver’s license. Passengers must be at least 6 and meet Hatfield–McCoy Trails’ size requirements. Review the full requirements when you book.

Do RMAX rentals include GPS?

Yes. Every Eagle ATV RMAX rental includes Yamaha Adventure Pro GPS with preplanned Hatfield–McCoy routes. Our team will explain the machine and navigation before you head out.

Do I need a trail permit?

Yes. A valid Hatfield–McCoy trail permit is required. Permits are available through Eagle ATV, including daily permits for rental customers. Call for the current options and pricing.

Are helmets included?

Yes. Helmets are provided. You may bring your own DOT-certified helmet. Follow the current Hatfield–McCoy riding and safety requirements.

What deposit is required?

A $1,000 credit-card authorization is required for standard rental machines. The RMAX4 Long Wheelbase requires a $1,500 authorization. Eagle ATV’s current policy says the authorization is lifted when the machine is returned in the same condition.
